Dog gives every indication of being just fine. Little beast sure put me through a panic this morning! Anyway, she’s outside chasing Nieve around and being her normal, perky, pesty self. Hopefully this being-just-fine thing continues, and I’m pretty sure that it will. I probably worry too much, but that’s just how I am.

When your dog steals your breakfast, which could prove toxic to her, so you have to make her barf. That sucks! This morning, I was eating my breakfast at the coffee table in the living room, because I had started to dig through some boxes of paperwork I wanted to organize, and I had it […]

The following two videos are among the reasons I love the Internet. Also, this is some bouncy music, make no mistake about it. I’m discoing all over the place over here. 1979 Eurvision contenders Dschinghis Khan from Germany bring it all the way! I don’t think there is any way to improve upon this presentation. […]

I was starting to feel a better from my little bout with the flu, but I obviously wasn’t up to full power. Fortunately, today I was back on the right track, and […]

Flu, that’s what. The last two months of ’08 have been a little rough on me. Attacked by a stray dog, hit by a truck, bronchitis/asthma-attack/cold, and now a standard-issue case of the flu. You know, muscle aches, stomach ache, head ache, overwhelming lethargy. I’m hauling my butt back to bed. Whenever I feel more […]

I re-sized a 1972 Simplicity tee-shirt pattern and cut out the test garment last night with some scrap left over from my Very Frilly Blouse. The pattern was originally for a 36″ bust, and Simplicity has a long history of running big. I measured the pieces and realized that it was set to fit a […]
