The following two videos are among the reasons I love the Internet. Also, this is some bouncy music, make no mistake about it. I’m discoing all over the place over here.
1979 Eurvision contenders Dschinghis Khan from Germany bring it all the way! I don’t think there is any way to improve upon this presentation. There are ridiculous costumes, a ludicrous song, and a particularly silly dance. This is why people watch the Eurovision song contest, and frankly, it warms my heart to know it’s been goofy since forever ago.
Now, here’s were things get really weird, and I don’t say that lightly considering what you just watched. Somehow, somebody from Hello!Project decided that it would be a great idea to have Berryz-Koubou, one of the Hello!Kids groups cover that 1979 Eurovision offering.
