Throwaway entry, but I made a new shirt over the course of the last couple of days, and I am really happy with how it turned out:

The little bow and dangly button-cherry arrangement came about because I accidentally nicked the fabric when I was clipping the facing, so I needed something to cover up the hole. Don’t those buttons, up close, look like cherry-flavor cough-drops? MmmmmmMenthol!
This shirt is entirely my own design and pattern, and took exactly 1yd of 60″ width fabric. I have two other tops and a skirt that are part of my “1yd of 60″ machine-embroidered pique” project. I’ll post ’em as I complete ’em. They will all be very corny and rather ingenue. Goodness only knows how or why this rash of twee came over me.
