Had dinner tonight with a bunch of friends from Hissyfit/3WA. I think that a good time was had by all–at least if the mad fits of laughter can be taken as any indication of enjoyment.

Mouse Decapitation Sleeves. A phrase I will probably carry with me to the end of my days. Also the fine description of what passes for a 3/4 bath in some real-estate agents’ crack dreams.

I love meeting new people, but I am always afraid afterward that I came on too strong, or acted too crazy or somehow perpetuated some kind of inexcusable social gaffe. I don’t know why, but I feel like I don’t know how to behave properly, and that I should really just be nice and quiet and sit at the back–not be so chatty, sarcastic, loud, silly, and outlandish. Well, I don’t *think* I pissed anyone off, and I certainlly hope I wasn’t irritating. I just always feel like such a dork after I meet new people, and hope I didn’t come off as spazzy as I feel.

On to another downer topic–jump-start didn’t start the car. Going to fool with the wiring to the starter tomorrow and try that other ignition switch tomorrow. We shall see what transpires. Damn, I am getting sick of not having a running car.

Eh, well, we’ll see one way or another. Tomorrow I have other stuff do–fun, nice stuff like going to the library. Looks like we’re going to have another shanks-pony schlep to the grocery store, since the car still won’t run. I am getting to truly detest trekking back from the store laden with heavy food.
