The Funny Pages

Comics that keep me smiling.
Frazz - Song-writer, Janitor, Cyclist, and friend to all. Probably my favorite strip to run in the regular funny-pages.
Yehuda Moon & the Kickstand Cyclery An online comic-strip about a jovially curmudgeonly retrogrouch, his pragmatic boss, and the bike-shop they run.
Get Fuzzy - I sometimes think Bucky and Smallcat share the same tiny, evil brain.
Zippy The Pinhead - the official King Features site kind of sucks, so I am going to link Grifith’s personal site as well, which rocks much harder.
Boondocks - two little smartass African-American boys hold the magnifying glass up to American culture and politics.
Achewood - A surreal underworld populated by living stuffed animals, jive-talking cats, and a squirrel with a cocaine habit.
Goats - Not much gets any weirder than “Goats.” It’s mostly set in a bar, with a talking goat, a chicken with a god complex, and a goldfish that lives in a pint of beer. And humans, too. They go to hell, fight monsters, and defeat a psychotic, zombified Gregor Mendel.
Something Positive - An often-funny, frequently-poignant, and always-compelling chronicle of a cranky young man, his violent best friend, and their rag-tag social circle of social maladapts and their pained lurching toward real, live adulthood.
Sluggy Freelance - A killer lop-eared rabbit, a morphing alien, a brain-fried ferret, and a couple of nerds go on adventures.
Dinosaur Comics - The art doesn’t change, but the story does. Erudite enough that a second browser window opened to Google is sometimes needed to get the full benefit of the strip.
Red Meat - Bug-eyed Earl, Milkman Dan, Ted Anderson, and the rest of the crazy crew leer forth and disturb you!
