I remembered I own the PERFECT dress for our “hippie wedding.”
This is basically my favorite dress that was ever made. I’ve thought this dress was beyond awesome for many, many years. I used to wear it in highschool to gross out the more fashion conscious girls who did not wear orange polyester, thank you! I’ve worn it out dancing, worn it to a Tacky Party. I’ve never NOT had a good time while wearing this dress.
It is fabulous! It’s so very bright, stain-resistant, swingy, drapey, and durable. I looked through my marvelous archives of 1960s and 70s dresses and decided that this is it. It’s the perfect dress for having a good time in, and if anything, I intend to be having a good damn time when Joel and I get married.
